Having a large number of fans all over the world, American jazz pianist Brad Mehldau, known for his innovative and imaginative interpretations, is the second guest of Is Sanat’s jazz concert series. Blending various genres with a unique style in his works such as rock, jazz and classic music, Mehldau occupies an important place in today’s modern jazz music. He is considered as one of the most distinguished and creative jazz pianists of his generation after legends such as Keith Jarrett, Chick Corea and McCoy Tyner. Mehldau has performed around the world at a steady pace since the mid-1990s, with his trio and as a solo pianist. Playing original compositions, jazz standards and jazz arrangements of popular music, especially rock music, Mehldau, with his trio, has also recorded arrangements of the music of Nick Drake, The Beatles, Radiohead and Paul Simon among others. Bred Mehldau still pushes the limits with his extraordinary repertoire conveying a  wide range of expression.
